Ever since they first appeared in a grocery store in the United States in 1913, the simple and delicious combination of a graham cracker cookie topped with a puff of marshmallow and then covered in pure chocolate has been delighting Americans for nearly 100 years.
Because it's delectable and delicate chocolate shell is prone to melting, Mallomars actually go on hiatus every April, only to return in September to delight fans all over again. It's been a long few months but they're back !
